Nationwide Arena Information
One of the most beautiful and unique sports and entertainment venues in the world, Nationwide Arena opened its doors in September, 2000 with the nation's only two-night performance of the sold-out "Soul to Soul" tour featuring Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
Nationwide Arena is the home of the National Hockey League's Columbus Blue Jackets, the Arena Football League's Columbus Destroyers, the United States Hockey League's Ohio Junior Blue Jackets and a wide variety of world-class entertainment events.
Located on the corner of Nationwide Boulevard and Front Street in downtown Columbus, the $150 million facility raises the bar of excellence for sports and entertainment facilities. The following unique features separate Nationwide Arena from its peers:

Nationwide Arena is the only building in the National Hockey League that has the team's practice facility, Dispatch Ice Haus, attached to the arena where the team plays its games. The Dispatch Ice Haus is not only the practice home of the team, but is open to the public as well.
Nationwide Arena is the centerpiece of the Arena District, Columbus' newest entertainment area. Unique Features: Two 80-foot party suite towers anchor the arena's stage end. Each tower represents three suites for a total of six suites. Party tower suites, seating between 24-48 people, are available for rent during hockey games and family shows. A 70-foot glass-enclosed atrium, open lobbies and concourses allow guests to immediately feel part of the action. A 135-foot light tower will illuminate the downtown Columbus sky to signal an event happening inside Nationwide Arena.
